We're seeking a highly motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our Defence team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. As a key member of our operation, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring the efficient use of equipment and resources.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality food that meets our clients' expectations, using fresh ingredients and adhering to food safety standards.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Equipment Management: Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment, performing regular checks and maintenance tasks as required.
- Logistics and Supply: Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring timely receipt of goods and materials.
- Brand Representation: Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image, adhering to our company values and standards.
- Compliance: Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, as well as Health & Safety regulations, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
