Universal Business Team is seeking a skilled Yard Operative to support our warehouse team in Mildenhall, Suffolk. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our yard.

• Order Preparation and Stock Management: Prepare orders for deliveries, pick and pack stock items, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Load and unload vehicles using a forklift, clean and maintain equipment, and ensure the yard is always kept safe and tidy.
• Inventory Control and Inspection: Check in goods upon return, conduct regular stock checks, and inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Communication and Teamwork: Liaise with office staff regarding equipment shortages, repairs, and other operational matters, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.

• Forklift Licence: Possess a valid forklift licence or be willing to undergo training.
• Outdoor Experience: Have experience working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
• Methodical Approach: Demonstrate a methodical approach to work and be able to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Team Player: Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
