Job Title: Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer to join our team at Simpson Judge Ltd. As a key member of our Residential Property department, you will be responsible for managing a mixed caseload of Residential Property files, including Freehold, leasehold, Sales, Purchase, Right to buy, buy to let, and other related matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of 6 other Fee Earners in Residential Property, as well as Support staff and trainees, to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage a caseload of Residential Property files, including preparing and reviewing contracts, conducting property searches, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and guidance to junior staff members and assist the wider team as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Residential Property law and regulations, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or licensed Conveyancer in Residential Property with a proven track record of managing a caseload of Residential Property files.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
