Director of Engineering

The Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products and services. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to align the engineering team with company goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the engineering department.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
Project Management:
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
  • Manage the allocation of resources to meet project deadlines and business priorities.
  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant technologies, languages, and frameworks used by the company.
