Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front of House Assistant to join our team at CH&CO. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to the highest standard, using correct tools and presentation techniques.
  • Assist with food preparation in the kitchen, adhering to our quality standards.
  • Set up service counters and maintain a clean and tidy service area, adhering to our cleaning schedules.
  • Under the guidance of the General Manager, ensure that merchandising at service counters and dining areas is correctly priced, labelled, and in date.
  • Work with colleagues to maintain food availability during service periods.
  • Assist in the cleaning and clearing of tables, polishing of cutlery.
Customer Service
  • Maintain a professional and friendly image with clients and customers.
  • Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful manner, providing assistance where necessary.
  • Provide information to customers about food and make recommendations.
  • Work with all colleagues in a polite and helpful way to ensure excellent customer service.
Health & Safety
  • Understand and comply with CH&CO and statutory health, hygiene, and safety standards, including COSHH and HACCP.
  • Wear the correct uniform and safety shoes as directed and maintain uniform items appropriately.
  • Report any equipment and/or building fabric faults and any hygiene, health, and safety hazards to the General Manager.
Occasional Responsibilities
  • Attend training courses and attend CH&CO meetings when necessary.
  • Assist in monthly stock take as directed.
  • Help in different Units.
