About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Data Scientist to join our team at Randstad RIS. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize your data science background to identify opportunities to boost plant efficiency, extract, transform, load, analyze, and report complex manufacturing data from multiple sources.
  • Visualisation and Communication: Develop and maintain a range of visualization products to communicate insights, including manufacturing data dashboards.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Act as a plant point of contact with our central innovation network, global data analytics & insights team, and various IT departments within Ford Motor Company.
  • Team Development: Develop a digital/data science team within the plant and deploy data analytical training and skills development within other departments.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, a Physical Science, or a related quantitative field is required or equivalent experience relevant to the field in an engineering/automotive environment.
  • Skills and Competencies: Demonstrable problem-solving skills, data support to manufacturing investigations, automating data pipelines, working knowledge of Big Data Analytics tools, experience with Cloud-based databases and data visualization tools, SQL querying, and Python programming.
  • Personal Qualities: High degree of self-initiative, drive, flexibility, strong leadership and teamwork skills, and resilience in dealing with difficult problems.
Working Arrangements

Monday to Thursday: 7:00-15:30, Friday: 7:00-12:30
