About Randstad Care:
Randstad Care is dedicated to safeguarding the welfare of children involved in family court matters. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Family Court Advisor Team. This role presents a unique opportunity to positively influence the lives of children and families during challenging legal proceedings.
Key Duties:
- Serve as a Family Court Advisor, delivering expert assessments and guidance to the Family Court regarding child welfare cases.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children by conducting comprehensive evaluations of their needs and situations.
- Draft detailed court reports that include recommendations focused on the child's best interests.
- Engage directly with children, families, and professionals to collect relevant information and provide informed recommendations to the court.
- Participate in court hearings, providing evidence as necessary, and assist the court in making informed decisions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including legal experts, social services, and other relevant parties.
- Maintain precise and current records in accordance with Randstad Care's policies and procedures.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective practice to uphold high service standards.
This position offers the flexibility to work from either Cardiff or Swansea.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registration with SCW
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in children's services within the UK
- Eligibility to work in the UK
