Midwife - Band 6

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team at the White Horse Birth Centre, Great Western Hospital. As a Band 6 midwife, you will provide holistic midwifery care to women and babies in the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have recent experience in all aspects of midwifery practice, including obstetric emergencies and medicines management. You will be required to provide care in hospital, birth centre, and community settings, and will deputise for the Band 7 in all clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic midwifery care to women and babies in the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods
- Manage individual caseloads, clients, and/or ward areas
- Deputise for the Band 7 in all clinical areas
- Integrate and fulfil all identified dimensions of the role
We are looking for a midwife who is passionate about providing gold standard care to families, and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to have a valid driving licence, and to be registered and practising as a midwife.
