Job Summary

The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accounts Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial management and analysis support to the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management and analysis support to the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial management and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Desirable Criteria

  • Postgraduate qualification in Accounting or related field.
  • Membership of a professional accounting body.
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting.

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. The role will involve working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
