Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning while promoting positive values, attitudes, and behaviors.
  • Support the class teacher by working with individuals or small groups, preparing the classroom for lessons, and keeping aware of pupil problems, progress, and achievements to report to the teacher.
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for education and a strong commitment to the personal development of pupils. Past experience working in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant is required, with a preference for those with experience at KS1 level.
