Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech Sales Careers. As a leading manufacturer of high-quality metal ceilings and bespoke architectural metalwork, we are at the forefront of innovation, design, and technical acoustic expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the latest AutoCAD and Revit software to undertake design work, ensuring seamless product integration and delivering world-class engineered solutions for commercial spaces.
  • Mentor and train junior team members and apprentices, helping to build a strong, capable design team that drives excellence in metal ceiling design and architectural metalwork.
  • Conduct site surveys and attend factory visits and client meetings, representing the company in a professional manner and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage design-related documentation, from initial concepts through to final approval and issue of drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide technical support and after-sales design assistance for installation teams and clients, ensuring seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with factory engineers and planners to ensure the effective production and delivery of products, meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Maintain excellent communication, both written and verbal, while managing time and resources effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in metal ceiling design and architectural metalwork
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
