Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a range of projects using EPLAN Electric and EPLAN Pro Panel software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for various projects
  • Generate diagrams, including GAs, single and multi-line diagrams, PLC overview, terminal diagrams, cable overview and diagrams, and parts lists
  • Conduct calculations, including volt drop calculations
  • Interpret customer requirements and present design solutions
  • Knowledge of British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with EPLAN
  • Knowledge of EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 13849-2
  • Experience in the innovative design of automated machinery for manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems
  • HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
