Job Description:

We are seeking experienced AV Event Technicians to join our team on a freelance basis. As an AV Event Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for audio-visual events, including set up and support for corporate events, conferences, and other functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for audio-visual events, including set up and support for corporate events, conferences, and other functions.
  • Ensure that all audio-visual equipment is functioning properly and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful event.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the event.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all clients are satisfied with the technical support provided.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with audio-visual equipment, including digital desks, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard audio-visual equipment and software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on a freelance basis and adapt to changing event schedules.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with vision mixing and use of industry-standard vision mixers.
  • Knowledge of power point/Adobe presentations and scalers such as Analogway/Broadscan.
  • Experience with Crestron/Extron/AMX processors and touch panels for patching of audio and video signals.
