Electrical Engineer - Water Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical engineering elements of water infrastructure projects in the Southern Water region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, industry standards, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical engineering elements of water infrastructure projects from design through to implementation.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth and integrated project execution.
  • Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve electrical engineering challenges and ensure project continuity.
  • Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within the water sector or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering) and professional certifications.
