About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Corporate Tax practice, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tax compliance and advisory services using shared service teams or technology tools.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of taxation, with a focus on complex tax issues.
  • Collaborate with senior managers, directors, and partners to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our delivery and provide additional services to our clients.
  • Lead complex projects and contribute to the development of our tax practice.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of taxation, with specialist knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients, including control of client take-on and engagement, billings, and identification of opportunities to improve recoveries.
  • Ability to provide tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients.
  • Understanding of potential risks to the Firm in relation to quality control procedures.
  • Experience of leading complex projects and contributing to the development of our tax practice.
  • Education to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
