Our Team
We have a team of 450 colleagues at our Wisbech site, working together to manufacture premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for major retailers such as Asda and Co-op.
Job Role
We are seeking a skilled Sauce Cook / Lasagne Cook to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for:
- Mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne products.
- Following recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across batches and delivering high-quality products to our customers.
- Efficiently carrying out assigned operations and tasks, meeting all output targets and contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping, health and safety, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Resolving running problems and issues, handling food ingredients, and participating in training and mentoring of new staff.
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve the production process and communicating effectively with your area leader.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience in a food production environment, preferably in a sauce or lasagne manufacturing role.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and specifications, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Physical ability to handle 5kg to 20kg weighted resources and participate in manual lifting processes.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
