About the Role:
Oyster Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Care Services to join our team at Furze Field Manor. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the care home, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the care delivered to residents, ensuring that legal requirements are met and the highest standards are maintained.
- Manage the standards and quality of care, including recruitment, training, and communication with the team.
- Oversee the premises of the care home, including maintenance and upkeep.
- Manage financial matters, including budgeting and expenditure.
- Support residents with their personal financial arrangements, maintaining confidentiality.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotion strategies for the care home.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a care home or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage budgets and accounts, with a strong understanding of financial management.
- Committed to a structured approach to training and development of staff.
