About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our client, a growing privately owned business. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions.
  • Manage a small team of 3 and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and the financial information pack.
  • Budgeting, planning, and forecasting to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Prepare and submit the annual statutory accounts, corporation tax, PAYE, and VAT returns.
  • Develop and implement financial processes and internal controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Provide commercial analysis and management information to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Driven to develop a deep understanding of the business's commercial operations and drive improvements.
