Company Overview:
Our client is a leading provider of high-performance electrical and control solutions, primarily serving the automotive industry. They are currently looking to hire a skilled and motivated Electrical Installation Team Leader to join their professional team dedicated to the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of a diverse range of automation and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the Program Manager and will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  1. Overseeing electrical projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
  2. Assisting in the planning and prioritization of tasks for the team.
  3. Supervising team members to guarantee that projects are delivered on schedule.
  4. Providing reports to management and participating in management meetings as necessary.
  5. Documenting and addressing breakdowns and deficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering setting. Additionally, candidates should have:
  • A minimum qualification of ONC or equivalent in a relevant electrical installation or engineering discipline.
  • Essential certifications including C&G 2391 inspection and testing and 18th Edition IEE.
  • The ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams created with EPLAN or similar electrical design software.
  • A proven track record in the installation of control systems.

Technical Expertise:
Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in PLC programming (with experience in mainstream platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent) and HMI/SCADA programming (such as WonderWare, Factory Talk, or equivalent). A solid understanding of relevant industrial communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Profibus, or Modbus, is also required.
