Job Title: Professional Discipline Solicitor

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor to join our Professional Discipline Team as a Professional Discipline Solicitor. The successful candidate will have a relevant experience of regulatory/disciplinary work for the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a broad ranging role, providing advice to organisations and healthcare professionals facing disciplinary action, criminal allegations and professional regulatory sanctions, as well as DPA requests and inquests.
  • Assisting the Professional Discipline Team with the management of matters relating to doctors and dentists on behalf of their medical defence organisation.
  • Working with senior fee earners on their cases, managing a case load of professional discipline matters under supervision of a partner.
  • Drafting submissions to regulators, instructing counsel and experts, liaising with institutional and lay clients, advocacy and attending hearings.
