Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing activities, working closely with our suppliers to source high-quality goods and services at the best possible prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Sourcing: Assist the purchasing manager and the wider team with all buying activities, including monitoring, planning, and managing UK stock levels, raising and monitoring purchase orders, and collating and reviewing required technical information.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conduct supplier performance evaluations, and implement improvement plans to ensure the highest level of service and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage UK stock levels, ensuring that inventory is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Utilize excellent commercial focus and negotiation skills to secure the best possible prices from suppliers.
  • ERP System Management: Proficiently use ERP systems and MS Office to manage purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Recent experience in a purchasing role, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Skills: High attention to detail, excellent commercial focus, strong negotiation skills, proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiasm, passion for food, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
