Research Scientist - Biomarkers Assay Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team as a Biomarkers Assay Specialist in a global pharma company based in West London. As a key member of our non-regulatory LBA biomarker team, you will be responsible for providing bioanalytical and biomarker assay support for non-clinical and clinical phases of drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement bioanalytical and biomarker assays to support drug development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments
  • Present data at multi-disciplinary project team meetings and understand the underlying biology and therapeutic approach of the programmes
  • Transfer methods to external partners and maintain laboratory equipment to high standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, Human Tissue Act (HTA) and other applicable regulations

Requirements:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a biological discipline
  • 3+ years' experience of working in a laboratory environment
  • Adaptable to changing project and organizational priorities
