Job Summary

Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of FOI Administrator. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Freedom of Information Act and the Data Protection Act.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, clients, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent award in an appropriate field.
  • Demonstrable competence in skills for role.
  • Experience in a care-based workplace.
  • Experience in care of the older person.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for providing high standards of patient care.
  • Basic computer skills, including entering numbers in a spreadsheet or using email.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients/clients despite barriers to understanding.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload.
  • Car owner.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
