Support Worker

We are seeking two Support Workers to join our team to provide care and support to a 55-year-old male with Motor Neurone Disease in Bridlington.
About the RoleThe successful candidates will work as a job share to provide 15 hours of support per week. The role is flexible, and the candidates will be required to work with the individual to develop a personalized care plan.
Key Responsibilities- Toileting and showering
- Dressing and meal preparation
- Feeding and walking with an electrical or manual wheelchair
We are looking for candidates who are punctual, resourceful, and proactive. Effective communication is essential, and the candidates must be thoughtful and considerate in their communication and actions. They should also be sensitive to and able to positively manage and respond to the needs of the individual.
Desirable QualificationsPrevious experience in caregiving is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs.
