In this essential position, you will oversee the planning and implementation of vital Civil Engineering and Infrastructure initiatives within an active airport setting. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the technical, commercial, and financial dimensions to fulfill project and organizational goals. Projects will include runway reconstruction, taxiway upgrades, and stand reconfiguration, with a series of upcoming projects that align with our commitment to achieving net zero GHG emissions by 2030.

  • Deliver projects within established cost, schedule, and quality parameters, ensuring a smooth transition to operations and/or commercial departments.
  • Integrate sustainability considerations throughout the project lifecycle, actively seeking opportunities to enhance sustainability outcomes in line with our Construction Sustainability Strategy.
  • Develop the project team by setting standards, managing, motivating, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and statutory obligations relevant to this role, including compliance with standards, codes, and necessary planning permissions.
  • Engage and positively influence key stakeholders (both internal and external) associated with the projects.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas simply to stakeholders with diverse needs.
  • Lead the Lessons Learned process across all projects, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications
