About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our remote delivery team at Glance Group Ltd. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying high-performance mobile applications using Kotlin and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Deploy Mobile Applications: Design and deploy high-performance Kotlin applications for mobile devices.
  • Write Clean and Efficient Code: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with designers, developers, and Agile Delivery Managers to define, design, and ship new products.
  • Unit-Test Code: Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Integrate with Server-Side APIs: Integrate with server-side APIs and third-party services to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Perform Diagnostic Tests: Perform diagnostic tests, fix bugs, and provide technical support to clients.
  • Document Software Development Processes: Document software development processes and prepare project reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Experience in Android Development: An experienced Android developer with a strong background in Kotlin and mobile application development.
  • Deep Knowledge of Kotlin: Deep knowledge of Kotlin, libraries, frameworks, and tech stacks.
  • Experience with Dart/Flutter: Experience with Dart/Flutter is a bonus.
  • Detail-Oriented: A detail-orientated person with a strong focus on identifying and fixing errors.
  • Proactive and Confident Communicator: A proactive and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative Team Player: A collaborative team player who can work closely with Agile Delivery Managers, designers, and other developers.
  • Analytical: An analytical person who can gather and analyze information for timely decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Adaptable: Adaptable to a fast-paced and changing environment with a willingness to learn and adapt.
