Position Overview:
As a Forklift Driver specializing in counterbalance operations, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of goods within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize a forklift or pallet truck to load and unload cargo, as well as perform manual handling when necessary.
  • Accurately load international groupage trailers following established plans.
  • Execute order picking, packing, wrapping, and unwrapping tasks with precision.
  • Oversee stock management and conduct quality assurance checks.
  • Maintain comprehensive warehouse records and uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Complete daily operational tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with a preference for rotating shifts, totaling 42.5 hours per week.

Compensation:
£12.43 per hour.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting and possession of a valid forklift driving certification.
  • Capability to load international groupage trailers effectively.
  • Proficiency in order picking and stock counting.
  • Basic skills in numeracy, literacy, and computer usage.
  • A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
