Job Summary:
Chambers and Partners is seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to join our Insight team. As a Research Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of researchers and editors, overseeing the production of high-quality reports, and ensuring that our delivery targets are met.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of up to 9 researchers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their production targets and deliver high-quality reports.
- Report Production: Oversee the production of Insight reports from writing through to delivery, ensuring that they meet our customer's high standards.
- Quality Assurance: Edit Insight reports to ensure their accuracy, clarity, and overall quality.
- Workflow Management: Monitor the Insight workflow and respond to unforeseen pressures and bottlenecks to ensure that reports are delivered on time.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with sales and customers to ensure that our product meets their specific needs and requests, and respond to queries and other delivery issues.
- Market Research: Keep up-to-date with developments in the legal market and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Team Development: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support the career development of team members.
Requirements:
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience of managing a team and leading projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write and edit high-quality reports.
