Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer with a robust academic background and a solid understanding of network protocols, communication systems, and digital signal processing (DSP) to join our dynamic team at Technical Futures Ltd.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Electronics discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in FPGA implementation of communication systems; recent PhD graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in DSP algorithm implementation using Verilog.
  • Extensive experience in writing FPGA test benches.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Digital RF Lead, the successful candidate will:

  • Design, develop, and test digital intermediate frequency systems utilizing field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
  • Produce HDL code for VITA-49 or similar network SDR transport protocols.
  • Design and implement digital IF algorithms and architectures using VHDL or Verilog.
  • Develop and test FPGA firmware and software.
  • Perform simulation and verification of FPGA designs.

Compensation: A competitive base salary will be offered, with opportunities for Senior and Principal FPGA Engineers to receive higher compensation based on their skills and experience.
