Senior Financial Professional with ACCA or CIMA

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the management of the group accounting center, working closely with other finance teams to drive the improvement of the group's accounting process.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial accounts and closing in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS or US GAAP standards.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the local Managing Director and team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Accounting Process Improvement: Drive the improvement of the group's accounting process through digitalization and lean administration, leveraging your strong affinity for technology and process optimization.
- Financial Reporting Package: Prepare the group financial reporting package in IDL, including relevant notes and ensuring compliance with the group accounting manual.
- Lease Accounting: Manage lease accounting in accordance with IFRS16 standards.
- Accounting Manual Compliance: Continuously review and ensure compliance with the group accounting manual across all legal entities.
- Auditor Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for local and group auditors, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation.
- Accounting Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in applying different accounting standards in parallel.
- Professional Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA qualified, with a strong understanding of international accounting standards and group level consolidation.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level experience with SAP, as well as strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with German language skills an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong skills in managing processes, data analytics, communication, and change management, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
