About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of IT services to ensure alignment with organisational needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement service management processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective IT service delivery.
  • Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure that they are met, managing any issues or escalations that may arise.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of IT services and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements, providing proactive solutions to meet their needs.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Prepare and manage the IT service management budget to ensure that it is aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT service management team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality IT services.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT service management within a large organisation, preferably in the public sector.
  • Experience of Oracle Cloud is a must.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex IT issues.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems quickly.
