We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Child Support Specialist to join our team. In this fulfilling position, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential care and support to children with Autism, helping them thrive in a safe and nurturing setting.

Your responsibilities will include:


Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver individualized and group support to children facing Autism and behavioural challenges.
2. Execute tailored support plans to cater to each child's specific needs and aspirations.
3. Aid in the enhancement of communication, social, and daily living skills.
4. Effectively manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours with professionalism and calmness.
5. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support.
6. Promote and engage in activities that foster independence and well-being.
7. Maintain precise records and documentation, adhering to safeguarding and confidentiality protocols.

What We Seek:
- Proven experience as a Child Support Specialist, particularly with children who have Autism and behavioural challenges.
- A composed, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, Childcare, or similar fields are preferred.
- Experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is advantageous.
- A valid driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
