About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned energy market professional to join our team at the StoneX Group. As a Senior Energy Market Strategist, you will play a key role in building out our energy trading team and leading the effort to bridge trading and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee trading activities within the energy segment, ensuring alignment with company objectives and risk management strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities within the energy market, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Manage trading risks within the energy portfolio, maintaining a high level of compliance with divisional risk policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the sales team to educate clients on energy market opportunities and facilitate order flow, driving business growth and client satisfaction.
- Lead the development and implementation of energy market strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in energy trading, with a strong understanding of energy market dynamics and risk management strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education/Certification:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, mathematics, or economics, is required. Professional certifications, such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, are highly valued.
Working Conditions:
