As a Customer Ambassador, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our passengers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide assistance and guidance to customers in the station concourse, ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Approach customers in the station concourse and offer help with purchasing tickets, as well as recommending best routes to those who need assistance.
  • Proactively assist customers with the self-service machines, ensuring they purchase the appropriate ticket for their journey while coaching and educating them on how to use the machine.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ticket vending machines and utilize various technologies to enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of customer journeys, key destinations, attractions, and London transport, becoming a trusted resource for customers.
  • Be flexible in your approach and willing to take on a variety of tasks to ensure the station meets the quality and safety standards our customers expect.
Requirements
  • Be organized, proactive, and able to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Cope with repetitive tasks under pressure.
  • Be a great communicator who enjoys working with people.
  • Be confident and happy to approach and talk to new people.
  • Be passionate about doing the right thing – nothing is too much trouble.
Working Pattern

Our customers need us all day, every day (except Christmas Day), and as part of the stations team, you'll need to be able to work shifts at all times of the day and on every day of the week.

On average, you will work 32 hours per week over 6 days, including early, late, and weekend shifts.

The Reward

Training: £24,440 pro rata plus £999 regional allowance pro rata per annum.

Fully trained: £26,102 pro rata plus £999 regional allowance pro rata per annum.

There may be opportunities to work on rest days or do overtime, which could increase your overall pay to approximately £32,000 per annum plus regional allowance.
