Position Overview
University College London Hospitals is in search of a dedicated Advanced Practitioner specializing in the On-Treatment Review of Therapeutic Radiography. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our comprehensive therapeutic radiography services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
This role encompasses both clinical responsibilities and contributions to our integrated radiotherapy services. The appointee will engage in the enhancement of our service delivery, focusing on patient outcomes and safety. Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaboration with various healthcare professionals is essential to foster a holistic approach to patient management.
Key Responsibilities
The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for overseeing treatment reviews, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations of patient progress. Key duties include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients undergoing therapeutic radiography.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Supervising junior staff and providing mentorship to enhance their professional development.
- Engaging in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.
