About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and their families in our Accident and Emergency department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide urgent care and support to children and their families during critical moments
  • Work collaboratively with the Paediatric Lead to coordinate care and develop treatment plans
  • Display excellent analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations
  • Check and use specialized equipment such as monitors and ventilators
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree
