Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer Director to join our team at Integral UK LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the building services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme and reactive maintenance (RM) in accordance with the building operating manuals and in compliance with the contract service levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Facilities Coordinator and Management team to give contractors access to site during normal working hours across multiple locations.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the site service engineer's and Contract Delivery Manager, including fault finding, testing, repairing and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems and services.
  • Close and update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements.
  • Prepare and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
  • Supervise engineering subcontractors and ensure they comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
  • Follow the appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
  • Support the static and mobile Site Services Officers/Engineers.
  • Fault find and rectify.
  • Support the site service engineer's, contract management and admin team through the operations office, dealing with day-to-day engineering and other contract issues.
  • Record engineering performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and end users.
  • Have a flexible approach to working times to suit the client and business requirements.
  • Respond to emergency situations in both normal and out-of-hours working times.
  • Support the organising and direction of subcontractor labour as necessary.
  • Conduct asset collections and condition surveys to assist the site service engineer's and Contract Delivery Manager.
  • Maintain Health and Safety records and ensure good practice.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the site service engineer's and Contract Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of the contracts within the region.
  • Ensure Company and Site Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works.
  • Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management.
  • Attend site emergencies and callouts outside of normal working hours.
  • Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders.

Requirements:

  • Current Full UK driving licence.
  • A good awareness of Health and Safety working practices.
  • Understanding of basic joinery, general DIY and basic plumbing.
