Position Overview:
A reputable mechanical engineering firm, recognized for providing comprehensive project solutions across diverse sectors including Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Energy, Water Treatment, and Pharmaceuticals, is in search of a Piping Inspector.

Key Details:
  • Location: Southampton
  • Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:30
    • Friday: 07:30 - 13:30

Role Responsibilities:

Key Duties Include:
  • Conducting surveys and generating design schematics for equipment upgrades and alterations.
  • Providing technical insights during the detailed engineering phases of projects.
  • Assisting in the creation of manufacturing work packages.

Proficiency in interpreting petrochemical piping standards with a strong focus on site assessments is essential.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with AutoCAD software is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Extensive background in piping and steelwork within strictly regulated sectors such as Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and cryogenics.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
