About the Role

Coker Engineering Ltd, a precision engineering company in Taunton, South West England, seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead all quality-related functions. Reporting to the directors, the Quality Manager will be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring its continued development and effective application throughout the business and extended supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QMS, adhering to industry standards
  • Manage ISO9001, AS9100D, and TS16949 systems and procedures
  • Lead internal auditing best practices and precision inspection metrology
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to maintain high-quality standards and compliance
  • Develop and implement effective QC methodology and KPI monitoring

Requirements

  • Proven QMS development and implementation experience
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and TS16949 systems and procedures
  • Direct experience with internal auditing best practices
  • Familiarity with precision inspection metrology and methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
