Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Engineering Technician to become a vital part of our team, concentrating on New, Current, and Special product lines. This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including New Product integration, Production assistance, quality inspection, tooling design, process enhancement, and documentation for assembly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Production Engineering team throughout the New Product Development process.
  • Provide support in product assembly tasks.
  • Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions.
  • Conduct inspections of non-conforming products.
  • Develop clear and concise assembly instructions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational background: HNC (or equivalent) or completion of an apprenticeship.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and proactive approach.
  • Experience with manufacturing techniques.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.

This role is situated within our Spectroscopy Products Division, recognized for its leadership in Raman Spectroscopy technologies, delivering spectrometers and laser products globally.
