About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Chef to join our team at Blue Spark Organisation Ltd. As a Senior Development Chef, you will be responsible for developing inspirational new concepts for major retail customers, refreshing existing ranges to keep up with the latest food and ingredient trends, and monitoring competitor products and performance to ensure our ranges are the best in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new product concepts that meet the needs of major retail customers
  • Work closely with internal teams to map out and understand the critical path for key projects
  • Collaborate with leading retailers to present new concepts and ensure project alignment and success
  • Mentor and nurture a team of development chefs to ensure they reach their potential
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest food and ingredient trends to ensure our ranges remain competitive

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment with a focus on NPD
  • Strong culinary expertise gained in high-end restaurant environments
  • Ability to work with major retailers and understand their needs and expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
