About the Role
We are seeking a confident and caring Support Worker to join our team and support Nelly, a young lady with a learning disability. Nelly enjoys spending time in the community, going on walks, and engaging in arts and crafts. She is a fun-loving individual who is looking for a supportive companion to join her on her daily adventures.
Responsibilities
- Assist Nelly with various aspects of personal care, including moving and handling, and positive behavioral support.
- Support Nelly in expanding her social networks and connections, including taking her on outings and engaging in activities she enjoys.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure Nelly's safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.
What We Offer
Enable offers a flexible approach to contracted hours, shift patterns, and shift times that can work around childcare and other commitments. We also provide a bespoke induction and shadowing process for each of the people we support.
Requirements
We are looking for a Support Worker who is confident, caring, and able to work independently. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with Nelly and our team, and be able to adapt to changing situations.
