Job Summary:

Nixon Hire, a leading provider of waste management services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Driver to join our team. As a Service Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering and removing waste from customer sites, ensuring that our vehicles are in a safe working position, and adhering to all environmental and health & safety regulations.

About the Role:

  • Deliver and collect waste management products to and from customer sites.
  • Conduct regular servicing and cleaning of waste management equipment.
  • Support the planning and execution of delivery and collection routes to optimize fuel consumption and driver time.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, adhering to transport regulations and company policies.
  • Use lifting equipment safely and in accordance with company safety directives and method statements.
  • Implement lean and 5's processes and methodology in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Good knowledge of the Aberdeen region and surrounding areas.
  • Customer-focused experience and expertise.
  • Good physical health and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
  • Flexibility to work reasonable overtime if required.
