Position Overview

HFG Insurance Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent Specialty Reinsurer to identify a Treaty Pricing Actuary who will contribute to the expansion of their Treaty Portfolio. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Assisting Underwriters and Brokers in negotiations with reinsurers
  • Engaging with professionals at various levels, including the Head of Pricing
  • Leading and overseeing the creation of pricing models
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of pricing while aiding in portfolio optimization and risk assessment
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Gaining exposure to all treaty classes while spearheading Partnerships and Innovation initiatives

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in London Market Pricing is crucial for this role
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Excel
  • Must be a Qualified Actuary - FIA
  • Possession of full UK working rights
