As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling lives. You will provide personalized support, assisting with daily tasks, encouraging social engagement, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with personal care routines, medication management, and household chores.
  • Facilitate engaging activities and outings to promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving their personal goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to individual care.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals involved in the individual's care.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors is essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with people with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred due to limited public transportation options in the area.
