Position Overview

Our client, a prestigious Cabinet Maker, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their esteemed organization. This role involves generating detailed quotations and cost assessments for bespoke interior projects.

The company specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing tailored interiors for the luxury residential sector, both domestically and internationally. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of high-end bespoke cabinet making, including various finishes and specialized techniques prevalent in the luxury market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for estimating inquiries, evaluating project size, complexity, and compatibility with company capabilities.
  • Develop quotation sheets and price components, coordinating project review meetings.
  • Establish project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Organize and schedule work accurately on a weekly basis within the Estimating framework.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and mid-tender discussions.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in IT, with a solid understanding of CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with fundamental revenue models, profit/loss analysis, and forecasting techniques.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: £38,000 to £48,000 based on experience, along with pension contributions.
  • Engaging company events and social gatherings.
  • Complimentary lunches every Friday for the entire team.
  • On-site parking available.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
