Position Overview

**ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION EVALUATOR**

**Employment Type:** Full-time, 37 hours per week
**Compensation Package:** Competitive salary ranging from £28,122 to £38,311, with additional employer pension contributions between £6,749 and £9,194.

**Leave Entitlement:** Enjoy 40 days of annual leave, increasing to 45 days after five years of service, inclusive of public holidays and seasonal closures. An annual bonus scheme is also available.

Our college is a leading provider of Electrical Installation Apprenticeship standards, offering programs from Intermediate to Advanced and Higher levels across our campuses.

Currently, we are investing significantly in our facilities, with a £25 million project for a new Technology & Engineering center at one campus and an additional £20 million investment at another, in partnership with a local university.

We seek qualified professionals to join our enthusiastic and supportive team of Evaluators. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality apprenticeship programs and workplace training to local businesses. You will conduct assessments at the apprentices' workplaces, ensuring timely achievements for employers while maintaining high standards for candidates and fostering strong relationships with local businesses.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and sustain relationships with local businesses.
  • Participate actively in the recruitment of new apprentices through engagement with local employers.
  • Conduct on-site NVQ 3 assessments in accordance with awarding body standards and monitor apprentices' progress.
  • Engage in the recruitment of new apprentices through outreach to local businesses.

**Required Qualifications and Skills:**

  • Possess relevant qualifications at level 3 and experience in the electrical installation sector.
  • Hold or be willing to pursue the necessary assessor qualifications (TAQA Level 3, with progression to TAQA Level 4).
  • Demonstrate industry experience in Electrical Installation, with up-to-date knowledge and the ability to deliver training to industry standards.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage a diverse workload effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
