About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing and Communications professional to join our team as Head of Marketing and Communications. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketing and communications strategy, driving brand visibility and supporting income generation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and communications, with experience in developing and executing strategic plans with measurable outcomes. You will be an expert communicator, editor, and proofreader, with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

You will lead a small team and be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy, including social media, content creation, and stakeholder engagement. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the organization to promote our programs and services.

We are looking for a talented storyteller who can support our growth strategy and help us make a positive impact on the welfare of cats around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy
  • Lead a small team and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Create and implement social media and content creation plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote programs and services
  • Manage and develop the skills of team members

International Cat Care is a leading cat welfare charity that has been challenging cruelty, ignorance, and misunderstanding around cats since 1958. We fund research, provide information for cat owners, advocate for better understanding of cats, and consult on legislation regarding animal welfare with a specific focus on cats.
