About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist Mentor to support autistic students studying at Universities and/or Colleges in Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to autistic students to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Work closely with academic staff to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other support services to ensure a comprehensive support network for students.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with autistic individuals, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
