KS2 Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our team at a vibrant and welcoming Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Tottenham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum, fostering a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of KS2 students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the academic and social development of pupils.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, implementing interventions where necessary to support achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) students, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
